Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skia, a radiology reporting tool operated by Caiel Informatics Pvt Ltd ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using Skia, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Nature of the Service

Skia is a software tool designed to assist radiologists and reporting teams in producing radiology reports. Skia is not a medical device. It does not provide diagnoses, clinical recommendations, or treatment plans. Skia does not replace clinical judgment, and all final decisions regarding patient care remain the sole responsibility of qualified medical professionals.

Eligibility

There is no minimum age requirement to use Skia. Access to the product is granted following an onboarding process, which is initiated at our discretion based on your request.

Free Trial

A free trial of Skia is available on request. To begin a trial, you must complete the onboarding process. Trial terms, including duration and scope, will be communicated during onboarding.

Pricing

Skia is offered on a per study or per month subscription basis. Specific pricing details are shared during onboarding and may vary depending on your organization's requirements. We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.

Onboarding

If your facility does not require a new PACS Connect, onboarding is immediate. If a PACS Connect is needed, the onboarding process typically takes 48 to 72 hours. Timelines may vary based on your PACS vendor's cooperation and technical requirements.

Patient Data

Skia processes report information in memory during active sessions only. When a report is submitted, the session clears entirely. No patient data is written to our servers. We do not store, archive, or retain any patient information at any point.

Service Availability

Skia is provided on an "as is" basis. We make reasonable efforts to maintain uptime and service availability, but we do not offer a formal service level agreement (SLA). We are not liable for interruptions, downtime, or delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including network outages, infrastructure failures, or third party service disruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Caiel Informatics Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Skia. Because Skia is not a medical device and does not replace clinical judgment, we disclaim all liability for clinical outcomes, diagnostic decisions, or patient care actions taken in connection with the use of our software.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Skia is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non infringement.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Skia at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access poses a risk to our service or other users. You may stop using Skia at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Skia after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Karnataka, India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Skia shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India.
